Halva is not en easily perishable foodstuff. You can store the packaged halva in a cool, dry place away from light. Once the package or box of the halva is opened, you can consume it within a week. You can store halva in the refrigerator for a long time without losing its flavor. The oil on the halva is not the cause of spoilage.
